GOUP Technology Pvt. Ltd. ("Xshield Security") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you visit www.xshield.in, call or WhatsApp us, book a service or make a payment.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: name, mobile number, email and site address.
- Location: the location pin you share so our technician can reach you.
- Service details: the products and work done at your site, photos of the work, warranty and invoice records.
- Communication: calls with our team may be recorded, and messages on our WhatsApp business number are stored, for service quality, training and to keep an accurate record of your request.
- Payment information: payment status and transaction ID. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment partner Razorpay and are not stored by us.
2. How we use it
- To schedule visits, assign technicians and complete your job (including SMS/WhatsApp updates and OTP-based job closure).
- To send quotations, invoices, payment links, warranty details and service reminders.
- To answer your questions and complaints and improve our service.
- To meet legal and tax requirements.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: our technicians assigned to your job; service providers who help us run our business (such as payment, SMS/WhatsApp messaging, cloud hosting and call-transcription providers) under confidentiality; and government authorities when required by law.
4. Your camera footage
We do not access your camera footage or device accounts except when you ask us to (for installation, repair or support), or when you subscribe to our night monitoring service, in which case trained staff view live feeds only for monitoring purposes.
5. Data security and retention
We use access controls and secure cloud services to protect your data. We keep records for as long as needed to provide service, honour warranties and meet legal requirements, after which they are deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing messages, by writing to us at gouptechgps@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
Our website may use basic cookies and analytics to understand visits and improve the site. You can block cookies in your browser.
